IF SERVICE COORDINATOR (FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. Role Purpose We are currently searching for a professional with a previous experience in sport organizations/federations/event organizations. The role will collaborate with the IF Service Manager to collaborate and manage all the relationships with the main Sport National and International Federations (including International Federation, International Olympic/Paralympic Committee, National Federation). In particular, the role will be responsible for: Supporting the IF Service Manager in the communication with the National and International Federations; Collecting and understanding Federations’ needs and requirements in order to help the Sport Function in the definition of the various service levels of the Federations.; Operating as a point of contact between the International and National Federations and the Fondazione Milano Cortina; Elaborating report, official presentations, external and internal documentation to share with main internal and external stakeholder based on IF Service Manager guidelines and instructions; The IF Service Coordinator will be asked to operate with a detailed oriented approach, by guaranteeing confidentiality in managing the information collected, as well as consolidated communicational and relational skills. Key Deliverables Daily report with internal Sport Team members and other internal key stakeholders Frequent report with International and National Sport Federations Collection and analysis of main Federations’ needs and requirements Constant monitoring of the Project Schedules and Timelines to ensure alignment with deadlines Bachelor or Master Degree in Sport Management/Communication/International Relations/Management & Economics (preferably with a Sport Major) At least 3 years of previous experience in similar contexts Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (mainly on Excel and PowerPoint) English Proficiency Level is considered mandatory (other languages will be considered a plus) Good Italian Level is considered desirable Great communicational skills, relationship management competences, team building and detail oriented approach will be fundamental for the types of activities requested as well the ability to work well even under pressure Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is committed in building an inclusive and diversified working environment, striving to guarantee equal opportunities for all workers (L.903/77) and promote the integration into its workforce of persons with disabilities (L.68/99).
