To make Krispy Kreme’s in-shop experience even sweeter, many shops across the globe feature the brand's one-of-a-kind doughnut theatre, an immersive, interactive experience through which guests can see Krispy Kreme’s melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts being made right before their eyes. Krispy Kreme's Equipment Service Technicians are responsible for maintaining the proper running order of Krispy Kreme equipment throughout a given region. This involves installing, servicing, and repairing various types of equipment. Additionally, Equipment Services Technicians give advice on preventative maintenance and general care. A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Assisting with installing, servicing or performing on-site repairs of complex equipment. Providing technical assistance to shop personnel and guidance on general maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. Responding to requests for emergency repairs. Working under directions and guidelines without direct contact with supervisor. Acting as a liaison between department and shop personnel. Handling on-call responsibilities by fielding support calls during and after business hours. Traveling extensively domestically and internationally as needed using various modes of transportation. Working in the Equipment shop as needed. Has a steadfast commitment to nurture an equitable, unbiased culture where our peeps are empowered to showcase their originality. YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to travel extensively; up to 90%. Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and engineering drawings. Reading and math skills. Proven problem-solving skills. Two to five years of previous maintenance/troubleshooting experience. The ability to travel by air internationally.
