Job Summary   Tetra Pak is seeking technical profiles to enhance its team of Service Engineers and Automation & Commissioning Engineers.
In these roles, you will provide high-quality technical services and support to our customers in the food, dairy, and beverage industries, having the chance to develop expertise in automation, electronics, and mechanics by performing on-site or remote service activities.
As a Service Engineer,  you will primarily focus on the Italian market, while as an Automation and Commissioning Engineer, your assignments will mostly involve international travel.
The positions are based in our offices in Monza (Service Engineer) and Ambivere (Automation and Commissioning Engineer).
What you will do Maintenance and technical support.
Perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical assistance on automation systems and electrical components.
Design and implementation.
Define automation solutions based on PLC, SCADA, and industrial networks, ensuring high levels of integration and data exchange with databases.
Programming and development.
Develop and program software for single units and large plants, primarily using Siemens TIA Portal, Step7, and RSLogix 500 platforms.
Installation and commissioning.
Conduct setup, testing (FAT), validation, and commissioning activities for processing equipment, including electrical and instrumentation configurations.
Documentation.
Design and review technical documentation, such as automation architectures, IP lists, electrical diagrams, and operation manuals.
Customer relationship management.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing prompt analysis, proactive actions, and suitable recommendations.
System upgrades.
Drive customers to upgrade existing machines or plants to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.
Reporting.
Maintain accurate service reports and provide recommendations to ensure customer reliability on Tetra Pak services.
Compliance and safety.
Work in accordance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.
We believe you have Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Automation, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
2-4 years of proven experience in similar roles, with strong hands-on skills in PLC troubleshooting and development.
Programming expertise with Siemens TIA Portal is essential; knowledge of InTouch, Step7, and RSLogix 500 is a plus.
Knowledge of food processing technologies (e.
., liquid behavior, temperature, and pressure) is valued.
Solid skills in electrical instrumentation and fault-finding.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Problem-solving mindset with a methodical and efficient approach.
Results-oriented, dynamic, and adaptable personality.
Ability to work independently and drive changes when needed.
High level of computer proficiency.
Customer-focused attitude with a genuine interest in technical challenges and service quality.
Willingness to travel extensively (Service engineer in Italy, Automation Engineer abroad) Valid driving license and Passport.
