Summary.
The Senior Director, Business Analytics & Customer Insights will be responsible for providing advanced analytics solutions to questions that will inform decision-making at senior levels of the organization, driving revenue and share growth while optimizing spend for Johnson & Johnson’s pharmaceutical brands.
Its goal is to assure that the CoE is delivering market insights, competitive dynamics and build a 360° customer view, grounded on data science, analytics and business focused services.
The Senior Director, Business Analytics & Customer Insights will partner with local Operating Company heads in order to understand the local business environment.
Manages TA Business Partners to ensure therapeutic area initiatives across the region are synergized and non-duplicating.
This position will report to the regional head of the organization and will have close communication with our Latin American Leadership Team.
Primary Responsibilities Include.
Create an enabling environment for the execution of the CoE's strategy Assure CoE is delivering the services in the agreed quality and timeline Maintain adequate governance rituals internal and externals Ensure CoE’s operations compliance agreeing with Johnson & Johnson’s rules Delivery of strategic and tactical insights to assets in Johnson & Johnson’s pharmaceutical portfolio Determine and prioritize capability building initiatives and establish team training programs or recruit new employees Lead a team that supports business insights generation, shape and operate the business insights model of the future Leads a broad, multifunctional team of BI professionals to deliver the gold standard insights & recommendations to support & challenge senior management in critical decision making to drive growth and business transformation Maintain and stimulate CoE’s resource efficiency Lead, coach, develop and mentor direct reports Discuss the strategy in coordination with other areas to design execution strategies Define the regional budget of the area in order to guarantee compliance with the strategy and ROI Establish budget by product archetype in collaboration with IBVT, CVT and global team Assess opportunities on the creation of new services Other responsibilities as directed by the company Qualifications Required Skills.
Degree in Business Administration or Engineering A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience working in Analytics Expertise in business and data management Advance knowledge of data mining, data transformation, and market research Good analytical, numerical skills, and problem-solving skills Strategic thinker and positive challenger Being able to work with different cultures across multiple countries Leadership skills also include lead, coach, develop, motivate, and mentor team professionals with advanced communication and inter-personal skills.
Change leader - driver of business and transformation with an innovative mindset and willing and able to challenge the status quo A minimum of 5+ years of people management experience High proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English Preferred Skills.
Strategic thinking, talent development, leadership by influence, teamwork, effective negotiation, and a sense of urgency Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry Skilled in Data Management, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Project Management Comprehensive understanding of the critical business questions and drivers of performance of the therapeutic area Portuguese and Spanish are desirable This position is based in Bogotá, Colombia, Sao Paulo, Brazil, or Mexico City, Mexico, and requires approximately 40% travel.
