September, 10th The Human Technopole Foundation (HT) is an interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health and healthy aging through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational biology, structural biology, neuroscience and health data science.
The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for a Junior IT Service Desk.
The Human Technopole Foundation (HT) is in the first phase of building its core IT Infrastructure and the team that will be responsible for the implementation and continued maintenance of various centralized IT systems and for supporting the HT use community in terms of their IT requirements.
Maximum flexibility is required to work in the office 5 days/week (on exceptional occasions it will be possible to work remotely).
This position is placed within the HT IT Team and reports to the Service Desk Coordinator.
Your main tasks and responsibilities.
Setting-up users workstations and operating the IT onboarding for newcomers and providing desktop support to our users on computers and mobile devices; Assist in resolving hardware, software, and network problems under supervision, gaining hands-on experience; Learn to offer friendly assistance (physically or remotely) at the IT helpdesk, gradually contributing to creating and updating user resources (i.
.
creating help articles or tutorials for users, keeping information up to date, provide accurate information of HT IT products or services); Assist in tracking support requests and gaining familiarity with ticketing systems while actively seeking opportunities to improve processes and skills.
Mandatory requirements.
IT Technical Diploma (i.
.
perito tecnico/elettronico/informatico/scientifico tecnologico); Fluency in Italian; Good English (at least B1 level); Preferred requirements.
Basic knowledge on Windows and Mac operating systems; Basic knowledge of Linux flavours; Basic usage of commanding skills (Terminal, Powershell); Working knowledge of Office 365.
Organizational and social skills.
