ICT Service Desk Technician - (...) YOUR TEAM You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to support IIT research activity. RESPONSIBILITIES Management of service desk activities and assistance to user problems, both on-site and remotely. First level support to all the requests and planning of interventions for hardware and software issues. Installation and configuration of IT assets. Cooperation with the other ICT offices to manage standard changes and higher level requests. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS A degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline or a high-school diploma with experience in the IT field. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. Previous experience in computer hardware maintenance. Knowledge of the fundamentals of TCP/IP networks. Good knowledge of written and spoken English. ADDITIONAL SKILLS Prior experience with IT Service Management. ITILv3 certification, or newer. Knowledge of IT Service Management methods. Specific knowledge of audio/video systems management for events. Previous experience in Research Centers/Institutions. Certifications for the required skills.
