For our entire Ammega Group in coordination with the Group and Regional Infrastructure team, we are currently looking for a Head of Data Center & Network. Individual accountabilities: Provide architectural and design input to strategic direction for the development of the Data Communications, Data Center, group Network and supporting Infrastructure environment. Create an Ammega global WAN roadmap and manage the implementation. Make recommendations to the Head of Infrastructure for the enhancement of the above infrastructure. Identification and rectification of poor or obsolete systems or practice. Manage Data Center managed services and on-premise Data center. Proactive management of the networks (LAN, WAN, WiFi, Mobile) in both the corporate and local offices, ensuring a suitable level of performance, security and contingency. Responsible for network monitoring, reporting and bandwidth optimization. Shared accountabilities: Network & Data Center Security with the IT Security Owner. Key linkages & interfaces / most important stakeholders: Supply and Demand Managers. Regional ICT Infrastructure and Networking team. IT Security Owner. Requirements of the job: Fluency in written and spoken English. Proven experience in designing, building, operating and troubleshooting large scale IT DATACENTER & Network systems. Experience of line managing team of networking specialists and specialist 3rd parties. Experience of managing Data Center managed services. Strong experience with Network architecture and design. Experience of structured cabling (fibre and copper). Exposure to server network connectivity, teaming, TCP/IP networking, switching and routing. Expertise in VLANs, HP and Cisco network switches. Knowledge and experience of firewall technologies, ideally Fortinet, Cisco and Palo Alto. Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Change Control Processes and Network Performance Monitoring Tools. Strong experience with technical documentation writing and maintenance. Awareness of Information Security issues, threats and countermeasures. Preferred experiments with transition to cloud services. Are you the right one to join our global ICT Team?
