DOCUMENTATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

· Maintain accurate records of all shipping documents and transactions.
· Coordinate with customs agents, freight forwarders, and port authorities to facilitate smooth operations · Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently.
· Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers on delivery timelines.
· Resolve shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
· Liaise with internal teams, including logistics, operations, and sales, to ensure seamless service delivery.
· Work with agents and shipping lines to coordinate schedules and cargo handling.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements in documentation and customer service workflows.
Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in logistics, maritime studies, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
· Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in maritime shipping, logistics, or related industries.
· Familiarity with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
· Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Office and preferably in SAP B1 · Good level of verbal and written communication skills in English · Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
