Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. The facility coordinator will be the point of contact during the game’s facility operations, leading the facility services center on site; Ensure that operational deliverables from the Olympic and Paralympic Villages’ perspective align with the broader Olympic and Paralympic Games operations; Managing and supervising maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning, safety, and functionality of the Olympic Village; Conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance, safety, or regulatory compliance issues; Serving as the primary point of contact for all facility-related issues and proactively resolving any problems that arise in the Village; Maintaining records of maintenance operations, repairs, inspections, and other aspects related to facility management; Coordinate and manage the Olympic overlay projects for their technical feasibility and execution; Conduct training sessions for staff, ensuring adherence to Olympic and Paralympic standards and protocols (in coordination with PEM). Master’s degree in engineering/facility management or similar technical background; Demonstrable experience in similar role; Proven knowledge of facility systems and equipment, as well as their requirements according to local regulations; Previous involvement in Olympic/Paralympic or multi-sport event environments is advantageous; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Excellent English skills, and proficiency in Italian is considered a plus; Knowledge of Autocad will be considered favorably; Being able to make decisions and take responsibility in difficult circumstances is a skill you possess; You are definitely a Team player and have a hands-on mentality.
