This position reports to Division Head of Sustainability Your role and responsibilities We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate sustainability specialist to join our team.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the implementation of group-wide and business-specific sustainability initiatives and programs by providing expert solutions and advice.
his is a global position based in one of the following locations.
Poland, Spain, Italy.
u Facilitates execution and contributes to the foundation of key product related sustainability initiatives (Environmental Product Declarations, Circularity Assessments, EcoSolutionsTM launches).
u Manages sustainability reporting objectives, in collaboration with internal teams across functions, while analyzing data to monitor the Division's performance and impacts.
u Modifies or establishes reporting tools and processes to align with new standards/requirements.
u Stays abreast of relevant sustainability trends and best practices, as well as changes in regulations, and provides consultation to the business(es), as required.
u Identifies opportunities related to product circularity and energy efficiency and proposes, plans, and/or supports sustainability projects within the Division.
u Creates internal and external communication materials around the Division\us sustainability initiatives and accomplishments and represents the Division in internal or external meetings.
Qualifications for the role Bachelor\us or master\us degree in engineering, Natural Sciences or Environmental Sciences.
At least three years of working experience in the field of sustainability including exposure on ESG reporting aspects.
Strong understanding of sustainability principles (value chain emissions, circularity, product life cycle assessments) with basic knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
Advanced data management and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team with proven organizational and project management skills.
Proactive with passion for making a positive impact on the environment and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken).
