This role is part of the Global Sales Strategy and Operations (GSSO) team at Gartner.
The GSSO group comprises various teams focused on increasing sales force productivity through multiple business-critical initiatives, including Prospecting, Territory Planning & Analytics (TP&A), Sales Technology, and Sales Growth Planning.
We are currently seeking a Senior Specialist for the New To Role (NTR) Team within TC&E. The Territory & Contact Enrichment (TCE) team proactively enables sellers with bullseye prospects in a prioritized and streamlined fashion.
Our core workstreams, including Whitespace Dashboard, New-To-Role prospect identification, and Lost LU re-acquisition, closely align with Gartner's strategic priorities.
This role involves identifying prospects within Gartner's target organizations, addressing sales escalations, and engaging with stakeholders enabling the Sales team to focus on closing deals and boosting NCVI productivity. Associates in Territory & Contact Enrichment use various tools and platforms driven by automation and analytics to empower sellers with high quality bullseye prospect contacts quickly, pro-actively, accurately and at scale in a prioritized and streamlined manner What You Will Do.
Research and Analysis.
Identify new-to-role prospects through internal and external research, review and enrich those in line with saleability criteria, and send the prospects to sales.
Provide quick, accurate lead routing to improve the customer experience and speed-to-lead rates, ensuring timely and accurate results.
Perform data analysis and support reporting needs, maintaining data integrity by regularly updating datasets.
Manage data tools and internal applications, including automation tools, Excel, Power BI, and prospecting tools like ZoomInfo, Lusha, and D&B Hoover’s.
Project Management and Collaboration.
Collaborate on ad-hoc operational projects, demonstrating initiative and minimal need for guidance.
Own and execute assigned work streams, develop strong process knowledge, and build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional units.
Stakeholder Engagement and Problem Solving.
Address sales escalations and engage with stakeholders across functions to deliver value.
Partner with teams to identify gaps, solve problems, and enhance processes.
Reporting and Analytics Analyse regional data and metrics to identify trends and opportunity areas at various levels (e.
., region, industry, practice).
Conduct regular analyses to ensure teams positively impact sales productivity and improve the overall experience.
Operational Excellence and Mentorship.
Drive operational excellence by simplifying processes, implementing best practices, and assisting with the transition to new processes.
Mentor and train team members on processes and tools, executing business-critical sales operations and ensuring robust data checks.
What You Will Need.
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM discipline, with 3-4 years of relevant experience in prospect research, client service or sales operations.
A driven, coachable individual with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to challenge the status quo.
Strong problem-solving skills, comfortable with quantitative analysis, and excellent communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (Think Cell); knowledge of VBA/Macros and Power BI is a plus.
A high sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to analyse and improve operational processes.
A champion mindset, quick learning ability, and experience working with multiple stakeholders across geographies with evolving requirements.
