SERVICE TRANSITION MANAGER - DEFENCE

This is the only site in Europe dedicated to the assembly and final testing of advanced aircraft, playing a pivotal role in supporting high-performance jets for both national and international forces. In this role, as Transition Manager, you will oversee, for at least the first 3 months, the seamless handover and technical transition of fire-fighting service operations from the current provider to the new operator, starting from the award of the tender (ideally from the 1st of October). The work location will be Novara/Cameri, and during the Transition period, you will be required to travel back and forth between these sites. Once the transition is complete, you will assume the role of Service Manager, overseeing and implementing operations and activities related to contract execution. Ideally, you will be required to be in Novara/Cameri every other week for at least the first year of service. YOUR TASKS As Transition and Service Manager, you will be responsible for: Overseeing technical aspects to ensure a smooth transition to the new operator Document and address any incidents involving service provider personnel Oversee operational documentation for vehicles and fire-fighting equipment Assess the condition of the client’s materials Track mandatory health checks, certifications, and any additional requirements for personnel Review past service evaluations to identify improvements Set up a unified KPI dashboard with Leonardo for all four sites Handle any other activities necessary for a smooth transition.
