WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Service Manager - Defence Join our prestigious client's facility as Service Manager. This is the only site in Europe dedicated to the assembly and final testing of advanced aircraft, playing a pivotal role in supporting high-performance jets for both national and international forces. In this role, as Service Manager, you will you will be the key point of contact responsible for ensuring seamless integration and coordination across all sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, and addressing any service disruptions or areas for improvement. YOUR TASKS Oversee services across four sites in Northern Italy, acting as the first point of escalation for issues or improvement requests. Ensure integration between the sites, coordinating personnel movement and activities as requested by Leonardo, and serving as the single point of contact for all four sites. Conduct periodic Service Reviews with the customer. Manage reporting to the customer and address any non-conformities identified during inspections or audits. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Italian mother tongue with fluent written and spoken English. Proficiency in MS Office tools, including planning software. Secondary School diploma or, preferably, a University Degree. Extensive experience in contract management in challenging environments, particularly within the Military/Defence sectors (ideally 5 years). Proven experience in service management of complex international projects. Strong financial management skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to innovate and drive continuous improvement. In-depth knowledge of compliance and quality management standards. Flexibility to travel and adapt to a flexible work mode, with strong communication and teamwork skills. EXTRA INFORMATION Permanent employment contract within a stimulating and dynamic environment.
