Juarez, in plant Salvarcar.
JOB SUMMARY Independently, or under limited or null supervision, works on complex by nature assignments, which require considerable criteria, judgment and initiative in order to solve problems and issue recommendations.
The operations technician is responsible for maintaining, complete setups and repairs of the equipment of the production lines.
He/she is responsible for ensuring that all the nonplanned maintenance work assigned to him/her for all the production equipment is performed, keeping the expected levels of the Department in the GMPs(Good Manufacturing Practices).
Compliance with the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) making observations and communicating them to his/her supervisor for their correction DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Under limited supervisionand in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position.
Provides solutions to the problems in manufacturing of current and new models.
Performs basic operational diagnostics test.
Solves problems and disconnects components, subassemblies and manufacturing systems, processes and equipment with the purpose of isolating failures, determine the solution and perform the necessary trainings.
Analyses thenon-conformant product in the production line; determines the root cause and proposes corrective actions working as a team with the manufacturing supervisor and with the engineering and quality departments.
Starts, adjusts and operates basic laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
Performs simple tests to the processes/products, as well as audits in compliance with quality and/or other regulatory requirements.
Conducts tests and basic evaluations, experimental tests and design proposal researches under operational conditions.
Records the procedures and results of the tests, as well as the numeric and graphical data for its revision by Operations.
Can providerecommendations and technical support in new projects, process improvementsand quality investigations.
Can support the diagnostic and analysis for product customer complaints; perform the awareness session for the operators and determines the root cause and proposes correction and corrective actions working as a team with the manufacturing supervisor, and with the engineering, quality and failure analysis laboratory departments.
Can support the solutionsto problems referring to the product in question; evaluating systems, components and electrical or testing equipment.
Can support the solution to problems referring to the product Customer Complaints; evaluating systems, components and electrical or testing equipment.
Provides support to operators, group leaders and trainers, in areas related to the discipline.
Performs inspections to his/her own work.
Follows standardized procedures while performing his/her tasks, when applicable.
Follows the Convenient Information Retention Administration Policies of J&J and of the Campus, record retention program, training and education, Document Retention Notices, Record cleanup, inactive records and Information Management, Vital Records if applicable.
Other responsibilities can be assigned and not all the responsibilities listed here must be assigned.
Has completed the environment and safety training, appropriate for his/her discipline.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Performs other duties assigned as needed Qualifications EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Technical career studies or equivalent, high school or truncated career.
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, group leader positionand/or training related to the positionpreferably.
At least 3years of experience in the products manufactured by Biosense Webster or similar products.
Two years of experience as Production Support Technician preferably.
Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principlesand practices, and procedures.
Knowledge to audit production processes.
Able to enter data on spread sheet and database applications.
Medium Knowledge of Problem Solving and Failure Analysis.
Knowledge of Product Customer Complaints investigation REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS Leadership.
Ability for the resolution of failures, in aspects or areas of manufacturing.
Ability to integrate to work groups.•Knowledge of the product manufacturedby the Company.
Ability to use measuring and testing equipment associated to the specific discipline.
Basic ability to read and understand technical documentation associated to the specific discipline.
Capacity to successfully complete the departmental/corporate courses of training in manufacturing techniques.
Ability to learn about regulatory requirements (GMP and GDP).
Ability to use computers and related software
