In this role, we can offer a full-time role, with flexible working arrangements, such as hybrid working, adjusted working hours, and other alternative working patterns. As a Senior Accountant - Financial Controller , you will report to the Business Controlling Manager and work on the product performance for the whole Central South Europe Area. In this role you will take care of the following tasks, among others: Be responsible for managing the finance product performance for the CSE area. Optimize Finance and Customer Experience KPIs, ensuring backlogs are effectively kept low and in control. Ensure monthly risk assessment and control performances are 100% in compliance. Proactively review and take action to mitigate key and critical risk areas. Actively support end-to-end Control compliance and process improvements through close cooperation with Customer Experience, Area Finance, Global Service Center Functions, and GRC. Ensure job costing controls are followed. Minimize and control the manual accruals, improving their accuracy. Local ICB & ICP (InterCompany Billing & Payments) anchor resolving open and aged items in line with the timelines. Finance Governance on new or adjusted customer/system/supplier/project implementations. Business partner to Management to identify and drive resolution of revenue/cost leakages. We are looking for: Strong analytical skills. Attention to detail, ability to handle huge data, and MS Office expertise. Experience with Excel (VLookUp, pivot). Experience with SAP. Motivated to learn, take initiatives, and ownership of your tasks while challenging existing processes and models. Able to structure your work and prioritize well, as well as show stamina in peak periods. Good communication skills. Experience in the field of logistics is a big plus. Native Italian and fluent English. Work contract details: The role is associated with a 12-month fixed-term contract. Location: Genoa or Milan, Italy. No visa support is offered for this role.
