About the role We currently have an opportunity for a passionate and energetic Sales Executive Middle East to join our iconic hotel in Milano.
What you will do The main purpose of the job is to co-ordinate all arrangements in regards to groups and transient bookings from Middle East and assist the Senior Director of Sales and the Sales Managers with site inspections, proposals and other administrative tasks of the department.
We are looking for an open minded personality, with an attitude of thinking out of the box and flexible in terms of adaptably to last minute changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES.
Work in synergy with the Sales Managers, the Senior Director of Sales, the Reservations, Front of House and Guest Relations Team Collaborate with the appropriate Department in respect of rooming list, special arrangements, any F&B requirements, transfer and transport, account and billing instructions related to groups, events and transient bookings.
Anticipate VIP guest arrivals at the hotel and inform the operational departments concerned.
Verify prior to arrival that all involved departments have the most updated information in regards to group, event and VIP clients and prepare the related documents (eg.
Banqueting orders, Group Resumé, menus, internal memo, etc.) Assist the Senior Director of Sales and the Sales Managers in the daily communication with agencies and clients and preparation of proposals and contracts.
Whenever required, welcome hotel guests, introducing the hotel and accommodation and responding to a wide variety of guest requests and adding your personal recommendations and touches ensuring our guests receive the highest levels of service excellence.
Understand and maximize the utilization of all automated sales and reservations systems (Opera) involved with travel industry business.
Keep Golden Sales & Catering and Opera constantly up to date.
Assist the sales team with reporting tasks.
Update on a regular basis preferred partners websites and extranets and provide collateral to travel trade partners Assist the Senior Director of Sales and Sales Managers to plan sales trips, presentations and activities Conduct tours of the property with potential clients Assist the sales team with site inspections, proposals and contracts and other administrative tasks of the Department.
Respond to telephone calls and walk in inquiries regarding rooms and events space.
Act as the liaison for all vendor/supplier related clients’ needs, (i.
.
Audio Visual, Florists, Entertainment, Transportation, DMC, Off-site Locations etc) When required attend events, in order to check and ensure an impeccable event execution and a smooth synergy between guests, hotel services and vendors.
Maintain a friendly, caring and helpful attitude with clients, as well as all hotel personnel.
Assist the the Regional Director of Marketing and the Senior Director of Sales on special projects aiming to increase demand, productivity and profit.
Participate in sales meetings and marketing meetings as required Cooperate with the Accounting department in respect of client account instructions and other administrative tasks and with Purchasing Department for Purchase Orders.
To carry out other tasks or projects assigned by the Director of Sales, not limited to the assigned territories.
What you bring Excellent Italian, English and Arabic communications skills (verbal and written) Positive attitude and effective interpersonal skills Luxury hotel Sales experience preferred (minimum of 2 years) or 2 – 3 years’ operational hotel experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Word, Excel, power point, publisher.
Knowledge of Golden and Opera is preferred.

This position will be based at Four Seasons Hotel Milan and will report to our Senior Director of Sales.
