About the job: The Purchasing Controller is a fundamental contributor for the achievement of the company objectives. We control a value of roughly 60 Bil SEK currently equal to about 60% of our Net Sales. Our 500+ colleagues of different nationalities operate both at global and regional level in an international and dynamic environment, where we collaborate within a panel of international suppliers engaging them with our internal business partners like Sales, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing & Engineering, Product Line, Marketing, Finance etc. What you'll do: As a Purchasing Controller, you will work on the consolidation of Direct Material reports on Business Area and Product Line level (actuals, budgets, expected) and create deviation analysis vs budget and forecasts. In this role, you will identify and challenge critical areas for improvements and drive understanding of correlation between figures and activities. You will also ensure regular contact between the controlling department in the factories and the purchasing organization as well as act as a business partner to the Controller managers and PL directors to drive strategic initiatives. You will report to: DM Controller Global Product Line CARE & BA EU In detail, you will: Prepare and analyze the Business Area and Product Line financial results. Carry out deviation analysis together with Commodity Managers and Factory Controllers. Follow up macro-economic developments impacting the business. Drive the annual budget and periodic forecasts as well as the strategic planning. Support the alignment of definitions and methods for Purchasing results between different entities. Report monthly and quarterly key figures with necessary accuracy and completeness in time. Support Commodity Managers with all necessary and relevant management information. Closely collaborate with the Purchasing Controllers in the BA and cross BAs. Carry out Raw Material analysis and payment term reporting. Project Manage key initiatives (e.g. Hedging; Supplier Finance; Policy updates). Ensure the correct use and maintain the correct calculation methods, processes, and procedures in Purchasing and in the factories. Train newcomers in the controlling department in the factories concerning purchasing reports. Qualifications & Requirements: Solid experience in a financial position (preferably in a plant/operations). Fluent English. Advanced MS Office, especially Excel. PowerBI. ERP finance modules such as SAP CO/PA are desirable. Strong Analytical skills and business mindset. Good understanding of Direct Material (transaction) flow within a plant/company. Self-Starter and able to work independently. Strong leadership skills. Team player and a great communicator. Effective in a matrix setup meeting diverse stakeholder requirements. Where you'll be: You’ll be based in an international work environment in the central office for Purchasing in Europe in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour distance from Venice.
