PAVIMAR S.A . is looking for an Operations Assistant to join its Operations Department. Responsibilities: ·Assists the Operators on daily needs / operational matters ·Updates fleet position list daily ·Handles correspondence with the vessels for various supporting items ·Appoints armed guards ·Arranges the renewal of SSCEC records ·Updates trading certificates ·Prepares bunkering forms upon stem fixing ·Arranges for COFR renewals ·Arranges SPRO contracts, annual renewals and follows up as necessary ·Appoints agents and exchanges all necessary correspondence ·Prepares OPS weekly / monthly forms and reports or updates as deemed necessary ·Assists operators in checking the relevant Letter of Indemnities (LOIs) ·Assists Operators in Master’s familiarization with regards to Benefit ERP and system’s use ·Handles filing of all the operational related emails. Skills & Qualifications ·2 years of professional experience as Operations Assistant for a drybulk Shipmanagement company. ·Maritime related studies (University degree or deck officer’s license) ·Good knowledge of dry bulk Operations, charter parties, freight / hire collection, laytime calculation and DA handling. ·Familiar with ISM/ISPS/ISO requirements. ·Excellent command of Greek & English languages ·Good interpersonal & communication skills (verbal & written) ·Ability to interact between shore and ship teams and be proven team player ·PC Literate (MS Office Suite, knowledge of Benefit ERP will be considered a plus) Recruitment of experienced personnel has always been considered a top priority.
