JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES.
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated person to join the Oakley PR team at our Milan headquarters!   As an intern, you’ll be part of an awesome team that brings exciting projects to life, from culture collaborations to major sporting events like the Summer and Winter Olympics, while sharing our innovative product stories.
With a PR-first mindset, you’ll get to work across media relations, influencers, and celebrities to help elevate our brand.
You’ll team up with our internal partners across the marketing landscape, including product, social, brand, and sports marketing.
You’ll help us manage our global markets and ensure that our Oakley tone of voice and product storytelling are consistent and engaging.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES.
Project Management.
Contribute to and lead some exciting projects that elevate the Oakley brand to our audiences! This includes anything from Oakley campaigns, new product drops, archive re-releases,  culture collaborations, to all things performance and innovation spanning snow to bike   Media Strategy and Relations.
Play a key role in shaping our brand image.
Support media interviews and spokesperson coordination, ensuring we connect with the right influencers and media outlets at the perfect time.
Talent and Content Strategy.
Collaborate with our celebrity, creator and content teams to develop engaging strategies that resonate with our audiences and elevate the Oakley brand.
Team Oakley Roster.
Contribute to heroing our Team Oakley roster by coordinating product launches, campaigns, announcements, and appearances to maximize brand visibility.
Product Management.
Take charge of product requests, inventory, and global distribution.
You'll be at the heart of product seeding and shipments, working closely with our warehouse, logistics, and agencies worldwide to ensure Oakley gear reaches the right hands at the right time.
Calendar Management.
Own the PR calendar! You’ll track and coordinate all key global dates, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Partner and Market Alignment.
Be the go-to connection between Oakley HQ and regions across the globe.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to craft impactful PR briefs, plans, and strategies that drive our global presence.
Products and Resources.
Become the ultimate Oakley product expert! You’ll be the first point of contact for product and asset management, with an in-depth understanding of everything we offer.
Finance.
Work hand-in-hand with our finance team to manage invoices and keep everything running smoothly, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
Reporting and Administration.
Dive into global PR coverage, working with agencies to monitor media buzz and compile weekly reports that will keep our teams informed and inspired.
