MANUFACTURING CUSTOMER SOLUTION MANAGER

We currently have an opportunity for a  Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) for Components Manufacturing, to support the Major Components opportunities mainly within the area of Plant Engineering (BOP, ITER, etc) and NSSS.
The CSM will support the business segment with focus on component manufacturing and delivery for EMEA utilities, and help Westinghouse differentiate and provide competitive offerings through understanding of customer-specific needs and requirements, solution selection, technical content of proposal, costing & pricing, responsiveness, and quality of bid.
The CSM position will also help to ensure that programs are delivered successfully to our customers.

What your Day to Day Looks Like   Supporting opportunities and projects which involve component manufacture and delivery in their scopes Knowledge of fabrication based scopes and projects Interface with customers and vendors Be familiar with supply chain/vendors.
key actors, usual practices, current, past and future challenges Define most efficient industrial scheme for each opportunity Supplement, mentor or guide project/capture teams on fabrication, component, customer aspects Have the ability to interface/work with different internal stakeholders.
leadership, technical teams, sales, contract managers, manufacturing sites, finance, project controls, EPMO Engage.
initiate and facilitate the interaction between different working groups, experts and disciplines across Westinghouse to support the offer/project needs Provide efforts to leverage / develop key customer relationships at Nuclear Utilities, specifically in Engineering and Manufacturing, to facilitate the understanding of customer needs and ultimately create proposals with strong value propositions to meet customer needs and secure Orders Entered (OE).
The CSM will be accountable for technical content of proposals, costing and quality of bid in this portfolio.
Work in the Plant Engineering product line to monitor and assess near-term client trends, customer buying patterns and competitor moves to adjust product positioning.
Recommend and validate the price to capture maximum market value in EMEA while delivering on business plan assumptions such as Margin As Sold; collaborate with the Sales team, to align on final price to customer.
Collaborate with Sales on capture planning and final order negotiations.
Work together and in coordination with the rest of Planty Engineering CSM’s and Plant Engineering Director to provide accurate product financials as well as regular financial forecasting.
Support the business unit by developing resource demand signal for Global Engineering Service (GES)/Global Operation Services (GOS) engineering needs and engage with GES/GOS resource management when needed.
Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, such as Global Engineering Services (GES) and Global Operations Services (GOS) Manufacturing, to ensure people, processes and technology are available to deliver offer commitments as well as enable market growth.
Ensure strong collaboration with GES/GOS resource managers occurs, along with Sales / Commercial Integration to generate and provide high quality proposals to EMEA’s utilities.
Navigate the various product lines within ES EMEA (Plant Engineering, PWR Engineering, BWR Engineering, etc.) as opportunities arise, interfacing with other Customer Solutions Managers and Engineers, as needed.
