Job description The Manager of HR will work closely with the local leadership to maintain and enhance the organization’s HR resources by planning, implementing and evaluating the people strategy, and ensure that human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient and aligned to overall business goals.
The Manager of HR takes a lead role in transforming and strengthening the company culture, ensuring that the company values are displayed.
Functional responsibilities and duties Design and drive the execution of local HR strategies and core HR areas including recruitment, employer branding, employee relations, engagement and performance, compensation, benefits, learning and development.
Ensure managers are sufficiently skilled and enabled to access appropriate guidance and information to manage workforce issues.
Support managers and employees with HR activities/services, including recruitment, talent management, training and development, performance management, remuneration, employee relations, workplace legislation, policy and change management.
Support management with preparation and consolidation of business plans and budgets with specific focus on HR related items (headcount, promotions, benefits, etc.).
Ensure HR related spending is efficient and within budget.
Involve procurement when negotiating with suppliers.
Ensure that effective and appropriate HR Policies and Procedures are in place and ensure that contracts and other HR documents are created and maintained in a manner that minimizes the company to risk of litigation.
Partner with HQ HR on workforce planning, talent strategy, competitive compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures to attract, retain, develop and motivate employees, focusing on recruiting and retention.
Manage whole recruitment process from job posting to generating offer letters and contracts in compliance with all local guidelines.
Develop and implement local and global programs and initiatives in the areas of Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Training and Development.
Manage employee engagement and communication, deploy necessary communication plan and ensure employee engagement activities are carried out to achieve the intended objectives.
Oversee monthly data consolidation and cooperation with external payroll provider.
Ensure data accuracy in HRIS and prepare HR related reports for managers and HQ HR.
Manage employee termination process including conducting exit interviews to capture reasons and motivation behind employment termination.
Support Global CSR team and coordinate local activities according to global strategy with focus on diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy and commitments.
Ensure compliance of the processes and actions of the entrusted organizational unit with the law and ethics, both within HQ and offices abroad.
Perform conceptual, systemic, creative, methodical and business activities according to the instructions of the direct superior.
Carry out further work on projects and tasks according to the instructions of the direct superior.
