Major Account Executive (Cybersecurity) New Accounts - Remote Would you like the opportunity to work in a dynamic sales role? Do you love selling innovative solutions to prospects? Join our growing Sales team Our team works with world leading companies in every major industry to make the internet fast and secure. As a partner to the Global 500, we collaborate with customers and prospects to align Akamai solutions to business needs. We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform. Provide innovative solutions to our precious customers You will be selling our cybersecurity product range to new enterprise customers in Italy. You will be responsible for the full cycle of sales activities from lead generation to deal closure. You will lead new account acquisitions, and will work with stakeholders across our business. As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for: Fostering long-term, trusted relationships by understanding customer needs and being an advocate for Akamai Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecast to increase visibility of prospects Meeting bookings and revenue growth quota within the set of assigned accounts to meet and exceed forecasts Generating demand for additional products and services within your assigned accounts to grow existing revenue Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure customer's requirements are successfully delivered Having the ability to build executive level relationships with high-level customers (CXO) Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have a proven track record in selling cybersecurity solutions to large enterprise accounts Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including hosting, networking, and strategic landscape Be able to work in a collaborative, results-oriented environment Be a self-starter, excited about working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment Have the ability to build executive level relationships with high-level customers (CXO) Have good written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English Show an understanding of our customers' businesses, pain points, and how we can propose solutions Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
