IPRS Health has an extensive in-house team of multidisciplinary clinicians which, coupled with our carefully selected and managed national clinical network, can provide a first-class service, throughout the UK. We are looking for a IT Projects & Development Manager to continued success and growth of IPRS and its Development Systems / Team. Salary: £44,000 - £55,000 per annum Position: Permanent / Full time, 40 hours per week Mon-Fri Location: Claydon, Head Office, Hybrid This position is offering Hybrid working, of which a minimum of 2 days per week are to be spent working in the office in Claydon, Suffolk As IT Projects & Development Manager for IPRS Health, you will: •Have responsibility for the successful and timely delivery of future projects relating to all internal systems. •Line Manage the Development Team, supervising, guiding & advising to ensure their professional and personal development, and creating a cohesive team focus. (Developers and a DBA). •The Role will require the individual to have either IT, Development or Project Management experience, but comfortable in a management position without hands on Development time. •The Role would be expected to update the Business SLT every monthly and provide more detailed updates to various other groups on a weekly basis. •Owning and managing Development projects and business processes within the organisation, saving time and resource, as well as assisting the IT Support function in fixing bugs and issues with internal software and help maintain legacy systems until they are archived. •Able to Demonstrate value for Money / ROI. (I.e. re-work, first time fix, SLA etc) •Celebrating successes of the development team project, and communication this across the business. •This role will be the key development contact for all IPRS colleagues and will oversee most development projects. Responsibilities: As the IT Projects & Development Manager for IPRS Health, you will have responsibility for: •Line Manage a small team of development colleagues. •Project Manage Development Projects and provide detailed updates to SLT / Wider Business. (Using Gannt Charts, Project Updates, Development Newsletter etc). Raising the communication levels from the Development Team and evidencing the great work being completed. •Oversee the design, implementation, testing and documentation of new systems written in .NET 8 •To translate specifications into technical specifications •To research, review and recommend the latest proven technological advances in the sector. We are looking for our new IT & Projects & Development Manager to be a team player, and to be motivated to contribute to helping thousands each year. To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following: Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Computer Programming or related subjects (D) Experience & Knowledge: •Experience as a Line Manager (E) •Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Management Role. (E) or •Minimum 2 years’ experience working within an IT Department or managing IT Projects. (E) •Ability to produce written communications (e.g. training documents, project plans) which are clear and readily understood. (E) •Practical experience of project managing software development work. (E) •Experience in a development role. (D) •PRINCE2 Qualified or equivalent (D) – (or Willing to obtain qualification within 12 months.) APM / PMI / Scrum •Experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript (D) •Experienced using Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure Services, Windows Server Environments. (D) •Experienced with System Architecture design and implementing systems with Best Practice. (D) •Knowledge of SQL Entity Framework. & automated testing (D) Skills: •Must have very good interpersonal skills and the ability to act efficiently in a highly demand-led environment. (E) •Must have the ability to interact with peers, subordinates and managers to promote and provide solutions to business related problems. (E) •Must be able to take responsibility for own work with minimal supervision in a proactive manner. (E) •Must be able to work unsupervised, able to prioritise own workload and share progress. (E) •Willingness to learn new skills and keep up to date with the latest technologies (E) •Ability to time manage in order to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment (E); •The applicant will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent level of technical knowledge and be able to apply the knowledge in a structured approach to solve IT issues (E).
