AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL PARTNERS COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF AGCO'S GRAIN & PROTEIN BUSINESS   Grain and Protein Technologies is a global organization with nearly employees who develop technological solutions for farmers.

The North America team is currently looking for a  Continuous Improvement Intern to join our Manufacturing & Quality team based in Assumption, IL.
This is a paid, full-time internship during the summer of at our Grain & Protein headquarters in Assumption, IL.
Housing is provided for students who reside more than fifty miles from Assumption.
Students are required to work forty hours per week on-site at our Assumption office from May through August .
The Continuous Improvement Intern will be tasked with the responsibility of improving material delivery and assembly processes utilizing Production System principles in order to maximize efficiency.
Your Impact Participate in 5s activities, audits, and structured kaizen events Conduct time studies, prepare standard work instructions, and contribute to waste identification for manufacturing processes Operator station layout development and implementation using APS (AGCO production system) principles and philosophies as required Part presentation design and implementation Provide support in problem solving activities and on custom fixture design, build, and implementation Your Experience and Qualifications Currently pursuing a college undergraduate or graduate degree in manufacturing, science, or engineering Experience with MS Office Suite   Your Benefits Complimentary housing will be provided if you reside more than 50 miles from Assumption, IL.
