Introduction   The Institutional Syndication team is part of the Global Primary Markets & Solutions division of IMI CIB and has responsibility for all IG/HY bond executions, with a focus on active book runner roles.
The group works closely with both the origination and sales teams to ensure the marketability and best execution of strategically important transactions.
The Institutional Syndication team executes transactions across 3 main verticals.
Corporates, Financial Institutions and Sovereign/Supranational/Agency (SSAs).
Activities   To prepare comps and assist with maintenance of a comps database for purposes of pitching and market analysis To maintain new issue database to track the main metrics of primary market performance To assist team members in providing pricing updates for issuers in different formats liaising with DCM (Corporates, FIs and SSAs) and Sales colleagues To support the senior syndicate managers during the execution of primary market bond issues (reconciliation calls, bookbuilding activities, pricing) What you will learn   Become knowledgeable with bond products and markets Become familiar with other debt related products Develop expertise with commonly used data sources and industry research such as Bloomberg, Reuters, IFR Values   Collaboration is in Intesa Sanpaolo’s DNA.

Requirements   Degree in economics/finance (preferred) Fluent in English Excel skills preferred Team working capabilities Interest in Capital Markets (Bonds, Rates) Selection   The selection process is divided in two phases.
