offerta the hr manager in particular will manage the following areas/matters.
strategy supports the group hr director in building hr strategies for their region/country leads and develops the in country hr team delivers the hr strategy at country level within the timeframe agreed with the svp hr; understands the business strategy, provides relevant and dynamic solutions using experience & data analysis for objective decision making; fosters and develops a strong working relationship with the workers council at a local level.
leads any negotiation on local pay, benefits or contractual changes, brings employee related disputes to a swift conclusion with minimum risk to the business; develops employer branding and reputation within the country.
commercial provides input at leadership level to all costs associated to people; provides expert input to any projects related to people costs including acquisitions, outsourcing and restructures; provides costed due diligence for any restructures or organisational reorganisations; is responsible for the oversight and costs associated with any 3rd party engagements.
leadership and team management builds the team and provides structure and guidance to them, by having clear objectives and measurable targets in place; has a hands-on leadership style; nurtures, develops and builds the capability of each member of the hr team takes every opportunity to develop, challenge and inspire team members and senior management; strives for high engagement and performance through effective management and leadership; builds credibility both within their own team and with peers through leading by example; develops relevant and effective kpi's and metrics for the hr team that measure the success of implementing strategic objectives; coaches, mentors and supports the hr team and the senior leadership team; creates and builds a team culture based on the fundamental principles of sharing ideas, supporting each other and autonomy; naturally collaborative and supportive but empowers the team to own their responsibilities and actions.
governance ensures annual audits are conducted within the hr team for compliance (hris, sox; policies and processes); ensures that the payroll is processed in accordance to the standard operating procedures (sops); ensures that all contractual documents such as handbooks, contract of employment,offer letter and so on, are up to date as per local legislations and aligned with the group processes; reduces company risk by ensuring good and effective hr governance is in place,including the ongoing training and assessment of competency within the team; takes ownership for ensuring that health & safety is effective and in accordance with local laws.
escalates any issues to the leadership team; acts as the escalation and resolution point for any employee relations (disciplinary or capability appeals) and provides guidance to the hrbp's for complex cases; responsible for ensuring that the hr department adheres to the gdpr or similar legislation, when managing personal information.
sox regulation responsible for ensuring that hr sox responsibilities are adhered to locally and has effective processes in place to ensure compliance; provides the group hrd, internal audit and external auditors with evidence of sox compliance as and when requested; ensures that group recruitment standards are adhered to, particularly in relation to the vetting of candidates and on-boarding is undertaken in a sox compliant way (subject to local legislation); responsible for ensuring that the hris system is secure and fit for purpose as the true source of sensitive information and data.
performance management responsible for ensuring the performance management process is fit for purpose; providing an objective way to assess 'fit and proper' status and to assess the appropriate level of competency for role holders; responsible for ensuring that an effective talent pipeline is in place through succession planning and effective resource planning; ensures that appropriate training/workshops are available for employee development and growth.
