To continue driving our mission forward, we are looking for a Head of Finance to join our team. WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO TAKE CARE OF Financial Strategy & Planning Develop and lead the financial strategy across multiple markets, ensuring alignment with global objectives and overseeing cross-border financial operations, tax laws, and compliance across jurisdictions. Drive the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Financial Reporting & Analysis Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) following Italian GAAP and IFRS. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to internal controls. Provide regular performance reports, including financial dashboards, KPIs, and variance analysis to both local and global leadership teams. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with taxation, labor laws, and corporate governance across multiple countries, including VAT, income tax, and other global regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company's financial integrity and security. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure proper financial oversight and controls. Treasury & Cash Management Manage multi-country cash flow, liquidity, holding treasury, foreign currency risk, and hedging strategies, while optimizing the company’s financial position globally and negotiating complex financing agreements. Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, investors, and financial authorities to ensure alignment with strategic financial goals and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Team Leadership & Development Lead the finance team of 8 people in Italy, ensuring a high standard of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Foster a collaborative, international mindset within the team, encouraging best practices from global finance operations. WHAT WE WISH YOU’D BRING WITH Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CPA, or similar certifications preferred. 8+ years of relevant finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership position . Proven experience in international finance , including familiarity with cross-border financial operations, tax laws, and regulations. Strong understanding of Italian GAAP and IFRS . Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a multinational organization. Solid knowledge of systems and other financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.). Excellent communication skills, both in Italian and English . NICE TO HAVE Experience in large-scale project management. Experience working in a rapidly changing and growth-oriented environment. Professional experience abroad outside of Italy.
