GLOBAL TECHNICAL & QUALITY DIRECTOR

Department : Technical Department Reporting to : COO Location : Hybrid (with accessibility to the Christchurch office as required) plus regular international travel The Opportunity – Global Technical & Quality Director We have an exceptional opportunity to lead, influence and develop a global team across our Foods and Non-Foods business as the Global Technical & Quality Director. This role operates at Board Level having overall global accountability for the delivery of agreed strategies through technical product innovation, compliance and due diligence. To be successful in this role you will have strong commercial acumen, an innovative approach coupled with exceptional communication and leadership skills. Travel to Asia (and potentially South Africa) will be required. Key Responsibilities Technical innovation strategy aligned to product & commercial strategies Manufacturing Compliance strategy. Human Rights Due Diligence strategy and the Sustainability strategy Develop and maintain technical guidelines, policies & standards Technical team leadership and mentoring, along with resource, development and succession planning Contribute to business strategy and operating plans with full budget ownership About You Proven experience in a Senior Level Technical or Compliance Management role within an FMCG manufacturer Experience in a customer facing role working with high street retailers Retail experience in a technical or compliance role at a high street retailer Expertise in technical development of both non-food and food consumer goods Strong leadership skills, with a passion and commitment for excellence and high performance (managing a team of up to 30) What we offer Competitive salary with annual salary reviews Structured bonuses (based on company & individual performance) Work flexibly: work where it works for you Salary sacrifice EV scheme 25 days holiday per annum, increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service and 30 days after 5 years’ service Learning and development and progression opportunities Salary sacrifice pension scheme Solent social events run by our inhouse Social Team Cycle to work scheme Please visit us at https://.../work-with-us/ for further details.
