At GDIT, our people make a difference. As a HVAC/GENERATOR Field Service Representative , you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Field Service Representative joining our team to support C5ISR Communication-electronics sustainment efforts across the European theater of operations. HOW AN HVAC GENERATOR FSR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Conducting technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshooting technical problems and issues, determining technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommending actions to company or customer representatives for coordinated product solutions. Assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducting technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization. Required to perform other additional duties and assignments in support of the Contract. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Possess an Active Secret security Clearance Familiar with GCSS-Army Maintenance and Work Order process. Work Location: Germany with 25-50% travel required to other European countries Productivity, Efficiency and One-time completion Meets customer's expectation and satisfaction Meet Contractual Sustainment Repair Turnaround Time (TAT) Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work in a fast-paced environment TESA Accreditation Requirements: A bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; An Associate's degree and/or Major Certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Generator experience and qualifications US Army 52D MOS or Similar TMSS/DRASH Power and HVAC Systems Power Generation Systems STT Satellite Transportable Terminal ECS Carts GUARDRAIL ECU Systems GUARDRAIL/TENCAP ECU Systems US Army 91D / 91C MOS or Similar Physical Requirements: Bending, Carrying, Climbing, Define Color, Depth Perception, Field Of Vision, Hearing High Noise Levels, Medium Work - Normal Requirements Lift 50 lbs, Reaching, Requires Personal Protective Equipment, Speaking, Standing, Work Area Subject to Vibration, Work Includes Visual Inspections Working around Hazards, Working both Inside and Outside, Working with Computers/CRTs Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety Shoes must be worn on work-site. Employee is required to purchase the PPE and Safety Shoes.
