The Role As an ELT you will be responsible for delivering high quality classes and courses as well as complying with quality standards and processes. You will ensure TLG policies are adhered to and that any necessary training is undertaken whilst also attending weekly staff meetings and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions. The role holder will have good classroom management skills, good linguistic awareness and the ability to teach general English. You will be expected to have excellent and relevant subject knowledge, communicative teaching methodologies and CEFR understanding. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a clear understanding of cross-cultural issues that may affect classroom interaction. The Language Gallery are looking for English Language Tutors (ELT) for adult students, 18+. We are look for teachers who have the CELTA or DELTA (or equivalent) qualifications, and we certainly welcome those with experiences of IELTS.
