Are you ready to join us? IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL We are seeking a skilled Financial controller to join our dynamic Finance team in Italy, a pro-active finance business partner who will manage the corporate financial planning, playing an active role in collaboration with both the Financial Operations and the Financial Planning & Analysis teams.
You will also cover a relevant role in supporting the Finance team during the month-end closing, budget and forecast process in order to close the total statutory reporting for the Digital Group (ShopFully, Offerista, Yagora) and ensure respect of internal and group deadlines.
More specifically, you will be in charge of the following activities.
Verify business and cost control processes and procedures are applied to ensure accuracy and integrity in a timely reporting; P&L, BS and Cash Flow planning based on recurring planning deadline (ie budget/reforecast); Long term business planning and bridge from business planning (management) view to IAS/IFRS schemes; Ensuring periodic IAS/IFRS and HGB Actual Financial Reporting according Group timeline; Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting activities and intercompany calculations for the Group operating companies; Variance analysis on Net Debt financial position and on Investments; Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making; Develop and maintain robust financial reporting systems to provide timely and relevant financial information SKILLS WE’RE SEARCHING FOR Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) in Financial Controlling within the Services industry, preferably Tech or Advertising.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis techniques and understanding of revenue recognition principles and cost structures.
Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with NAV system and consolidation systems (i.
.
Tagetik, HFM, etc.) is a plus.
Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; Italian/German is a plus.
Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
