., a company of the German group SMS, a worldwide leading company for plant and machinery manufacturing in the steelmaking and non-ferrous material industry, is looking for a Coordinator of Technical Service Long Products.
You will be responsible for the technical management of Service Solutions within the Long constellation, with focus on revamping and refurbishment projects, leading and developing a team.
In addition.
- Lead and develop a team with focus on integrated solutions for Long Products in after sales business; - Support worldwide customers on plant performances, especially with revamping and refurbishment projects; - Shaping long-term customer relationships as well as the acquisition of strategic new customers; - Developing individual solutions for our customers; - Carrying out detailed market & customer analyses to identify potentials; - Contributing to business development, business models, product portfolio and product deployment; - Implementing the departmental strategy; - Establish efficient relationship management with all relevant interfaces (internal and external); - Responsibility for the execution of modernization projects in cooperation with resources of the whole structure and, when necessary, with support from external companies; - Responsibility for the management, further development and motivation of the dedicated team; - Continuous process control and optimization by means of KPI's to increase service performance and reduce response times respectively; - Establishment and expansion of a professional project management.
Requirements.
You have a degree in mechanical engineering or a completed apprenticeship and several years of professional experience as a technical sales and/or project manager.

- Technical understanding and sound sales experience in the field of equipment for steelworks; - Comprehensive market and industry knowledge as well as know-how in the field of manufacturing processes and processing methods; - Knowledge about behavior of different metallic materials and technical understanding of complex drawings; - Strong negotiation and closing skills, taking profitability aspects into account; - Persuasiveness, confident appearance and strong communication skills; - Very good written and spoken English; - Ability to work in a team and flexibility; - Willingness to travel worldwide; - Organizational skills, sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure; - Open-mindedness towards new approaches and innovations; - Capability to operate in a multicultural structure.
