Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Controller Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cost control activities, ensuring efficient budget management, and supporting planning and analysis processes. This role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to collaborate across departments, and experience in financial management and ERP systems. Key Responsibilities: Collect and analyze data for Lifetime Budget planning and reviews (monthly and quarterly) from various departments within the Foundation. Provide support in the monthly and quarterly management closures process. Assist in providing actual data for planning activities. Collaborate with relevant departments to define and refine the operational plan for the current year’s activities. Work closely with the team to give input and monitor the implementation and development of the ERP system . Monitor and verify the progress of purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with allocated budgets . Coordinate with the Budget Planning team to develop and update the Lifetime Budget process. Handle ad hoc activities as needed to support departmental requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Experience in budget management , financial analysis, and cost control. Strong proficiency in ERP systems and financial software. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with various departments. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and deadline-oriented .
