Role Overview As a Chief Technology Officer , you’ll spearhead the development and execution of our technology roadmap, ensure the scalability and security of our systems, and align technological initiatives with the company’s broader business goals. We are looking for a visionary thinker with a passion for innovation that is highly adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Your mission: Technology Vision & Strategy Develop and implement the company’s technology vision, ensuring alignment with business goals. Establish scalable tech infrastructure to support rapid growth and expansion into new markets. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the fintech space to drive continuous innovation. Drive results through relentless execution Own the technical roadmap, establish clear objectives for the tech team, and hold yourself and others accountable for achieving them. Possess a "get it done" attitude and overcome obstacles with tenacity. Collaborate closely with cross-functional and product teams to optimize processes and eliminate waste. Inspire and empower your team Cultivate a collaborative and engaging environment where developers feel valued, challenged, and motivated. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior and senior developers alike, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Champion a sense of ownership and accountability for results. Drive the recruitment and retention of top tech talent. Build cross-functional relationships with other departments to ensure technology aligns with business objectives. Technology Infrastructure & Operations Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets security, compliance, and scalability needs. Implement processes and frameworks to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of systems. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations. Establish effective monitoring and alerting for operational systems. Security & Risk Management Proactively identify and manage risks associated with technology and data security. Lead cybersecurity strategy and ensure robust protection of sensitive financial data. Maintain a strong focus on regulatory compliance, security certifications, and audits. Architect a modern, highly performant technology platform Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our systems and infrastructure. Develop best practices that minimize development time and allow for rapid feature deployment, accelerating our time to market. Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and rapid iteration. Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers. Optimize cost efficiency while ensuring top-notch technology capabilities. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and agility within the tech teams. Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, performance, and scalability of tech operations. Your ideal profile: Problem-solving. Strong hands-on approach when necessary. Results-driven. Focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Proven Leadership. 7+ years of technology leadership experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior role at a similar scale-up and fast-growing company. Technical Expertise. Strong understanding of software engineering, architecture, and cloud technologies. Deep knowledge of programming languages, APIs, and modern development practices. Scalability Focus. Experience scaling platforms and infrastructures to support rapid user growth, high transaction volumes, and global operations. Security & Compliance. Strong understanding of data security, compliance requirements, and experience with securing financial data. Agile Leadership. Proven experience with agile methodologies and managing cross-functional teams. Innovation Mindset. Strong interest in emerging technologies. Effective Communication. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence company-wide technology strategies.
