Chief R&D Officer (Consumer Goods/Fragrance) Twiceasnice Recruiting Location: Outside Atlanta, Georgia – Relocation Available Salary: $300,000 - $350,000, plus Annual Bonus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance, 401K w/ matching, PTO Job Type: Full-Time Typical Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship: Not available Relocation: Available Travel: 10%-15% Description: Our client in the consumer goods manufacturing industry is seeking a visionary Chief R&D Officer to join their team in Georgia. In this role, you will lead and inspire a talented R&D team to deliver innovative, customer-focused, and time-sensitive solutions that drive the company's competitive edge. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful product launches in the consumer goods space, with strong expertise in fragrance formulations and sensory evaluations. To thrive in this role, you must be highly collaborative, customer-centric, and adept at navigating complex regulatory environments. Responsibilities: Develop and execute R&D strategies aligned with market trends and company goals Lead innovation for fragrance and flavor formulations to meet and anticipate customer needs Oversee product development from concept to launch, ensuring compliance and success Support the team in the execution of industry-leading, fast-paced timelines Lead and mentor a diverse team of scientists and technicians (5 direct, 50 indirect) Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Regulatory teams Drive research on new ingredients, technologies, and trends Foster a culture of innovation within the R&D team, encouraging creative solutions Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively Ensure adherence to best practices in laboratory operations and safety protocols Align R&D efforts with brand strategies and consumer expectations through market insights Qualifications: Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required 15 years of R&D leadership experience in consumer goods, including fragrance, is required Strong understanding of fragrance formulations and sensory evaluations is required Growth and innovation mindset is required Ability to work 100% on-site is required #J-18808-Ljbffr
