We are currently seeking a proactive and analytical Business Development Analyst to join our team. As a Business Development Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market analysis, identifying business opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Your primary duties will include researching market trends, assessing potential clients and competitors, and providing valuable insights to guide our business development strategies. Skills and knowledge · Effective professional communication skills (written and verbal) · Detail orientated · Lateral thinker · Proficient in MS Office suites (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) · Proactive and positive, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines · Excellent organizational, time management, research, customer service and interpersonal skills · Proactive, customer focus and client-facing · Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in teams · Flexible and adaptable · Effective in using technology and implanting innovative systems · Efficient project management · Professional presentation skills Key Accountabilities · Awareness of, and full compliance with, the requirements of Ayesa’s Integrated Management System (IMS) · Identifies and investigates opportunities to obtain new revenue aligned with corporate strategic objectives. · Develop a systematic approach to identify leads, contacts and opportunities for new business across all engineering sectors and regions which are aligned with the corporate strategic direction of the business. · Strong investigative skills to ensure all information is obtained to form accurate conclusions. · Establishes, maintains and builds relationships with new potential clients, contacts and stakeholders and identifies ways to better utilize these ties in the favour of Ayesa. · Ability to strategically obtain valuable information, market insight and analysis to assist in commercial decision-making. · Ability to analyse key market intelligence and present findings in a clear and concise manner to enable smart and efficient decisions to be made. · Provides regular updates on new business opportunities which are identified, collated, tracked and followed up. · Identify trends, key insights, metrics, knowledge and opportunities for new business. · Confident to communicate internally and externally to all levels of seniority. · Maintains the administration of the tasks, makes appropriate judgements & decisions and exercises initiative. · Produces high-quality reports, documents and presentations. · Assists and supports the Marketing team in creating material that is tailored to new business opportunities/clients. · Assists the marketing team with recommended strategies based on new business opportunities/initiatives identified. · Ability to identify and develop strategic partnerships to target new business in new regions. · Works closely and maintains an effective working relationship with the other members of the Shared Services team to ensure effective coordination and cooperation. · Demonstrates commitment to the job and continuously develops skills. · Strives to continuously develop and improve Ayesa processes. · Adheres to company and external Health & Safety procedures. · Other duties as required.
