For their Italian branch, they are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Employee to manage administrative and accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures.
Key Responsibilities.
Oversee all administrative and accounting processes, including the u201cactive cycleu201d (sales) and u201cpassive cycleu201d (purchases), ensuring accuracy and timeliness; Manage tax compliance.
F24 forms, electronic submissions, electronic invoicing, VAT declarations, triangulation, and declarations of intent; Handle home banking operations and register bank transactions; Manage credit card operations and register related transactions; Maintain administrative back-office activities, including document filing (sales invoices, delivery notes, purchase invoices); Prepare monthly and annual accounting records in collaboration with the external Accounting Firm and foreign HQ, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and accruals; Manage customer accounts.
create new customers in ERP, monitor credit, and oversee credit recovery; Perform monthly bank receipt reconciliations; Handle Intrastat processing and management for EU countries; Manage inter-company purchases and Italian suppliers; Oversee fixed asset statements and reconcile them with accounting records; Support the HQ with budget preparation and reporting; Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cooperation.
Skills & Experience.
Degree in Economics or a related field; Strong knowledge of English (required for communication with the HQ); At least 3 years of experience in a similar administrative/accounting role; Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax obligations; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and preferably experience with ERP Microsoft Business Central.
