Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. We are driven by the following values : respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. The Venues & Infrastructure (VNI) functional area is composed by areas such as Design/Delivery, Capital Works Integration, Central Services, Engineering Services and Signage and Wayfinding. In particular, he/she will: support the whole VNI team on the planning and delivery of the temporary infrastructures for all competition and main non-competition venues in line with the agreed milestones; be responsible for the identification and resolution of overlay related program & schedule issues and address contingencies, in terms of planning, in the delivery of overlay services; interface with OCOG’s key functional areas and delivery partners, ensuring the timely integration of multiple stakeholder programs and schedules for the successful delivery and dissolution for all venues; ensure the planning and delivery of venues is in accordance with the integrated schedule; develop the Venue Integrated Schedules (VIS) ensuring the integration between VNI suppliers and other key FAs, including the identification of critical paths and and key milestones; provide regular communication to key stakeholders regarding progress updates, risks & issues, including mitigation strategies; produce regular reports of the progress in the delivery of overlay services; support the monitoring of capital projects from public and private entity deliveries; assist the ongoing monitoring and refreshing of the VNI Master Program, focusing on all pre-installation planning processes. support the Venue Integration Group (VIG) focusing on early and effective integration of stakeholder infrastructure and operational program/delivery requirements; share ideas and information with the team and contribute to the team environment; be aware and comply with the Corporation’s health and safety policies, standards practices and program; be available for travelling to Milano Cortina 2026 venues. Qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management; excellent language skills in English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage; IT-experienced, professional use of MS Project software, knowledge of Smartsheet and usual MS Office softwares; experience in previous large-scale projects, Organizing Committees or Multi Sport / Cultural Events; knowledge of temporary infrastructures for major sport events; Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is committed in building an inclusive and diversified working environment, striving to guarantee equal opportunities for all workers (L.903/77).
