TEST ENGINEER (AUTOMATION)

The Test Engineer position is responsible for building, executing, and automating test cases based on test plans and functional requirements across our products.
What you will do:  The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:  Build, execute, and automate test cases based on test plans and functional requirements Conduct functional testing of new requirements and enhancements of applications Perform peer reviews of test scripts, results and documentation Interpret and report testing results and advocate for quality in every phase of the development process Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented What you will need  Strong IT professional with 2-4 years of experience in software testing (websites and/or mobile applications).
The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high on ownership and accountability.               Must have.
2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Experience in performing functional and regression validation of web applications and web services (REST).
Experience in estimation, prioritization, and delivery of QA activities in a Scrum environment Experience with programming languages such as Java and/or JavaScript is essential.
Experience with an industry standard test automation tool such as Selenium, NightWatch, Playwright etc.
Experience in API testing tools like Postman or similar.
Familiarity with a test case management and defect management software such as JIRA.
Knowledge of Performance testing (JMeter) and automated test suite integration with Continuous integration (Jenkins) are nice-to-haves.
Strong attention to detail, end-user quality, and usability.
Ability to work in a team with some direction.
Who you are G raduate/Post graduate in BE/Btech, ME/MTech or MCA is preferred.  Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
