TECHNICAL TENDERING SPECIALIST - SERVICES: GIS & HVS PRODUCTS

Join our team as a Tendering Engineer and play a crucial role in the pre-ITO (pre-Inquiry-To-Order) phase. You will have the opportunity to design optimal technical configurations, calculate costs, and develop strategies for firm proposals, ensuring our solutions always meet customer expectations. As a Tendering Engineer, you will be the primary technical interface with customers during the pre-ITO (pre-Inquiry-To-Order) phase (i.e., prior to a firm proposal). You will have the opportunity to define the best technical configuration, associated costing, and strategy for firm proposals. You will guarantee that the solution remains aligned with customer expectations. Roles and Responsibilities: Technical Analysis of customer needs/RFQ to define and offer Products/Solutions for GIS & AIS Substations: Ability to prepare proposal preliminary design/drawing for integrated network utilizing different equipment. Knowledge in GIS substations & GIS extensions. Ensure Complaint offer to the technical specifications in accordance with tender requirement. Identify & Flag Key Risks and ensure the mitigation plan in Risk & Opportunity register. Managing & Implementation of the Return of Experience (ROE). Ensure proposals are in accordance with commercial and execution strategies, meeting Yearly Order Intake Targets. Ensure technical Derogation and approvals intact, if applicable for finalizing the technical solution. Ensure completion of site assessments (site visit/review) for Brownfield/Existing Substations & site. Maintaining the Typical circuits/schemes/solution in Tendering Tool to facilitate future offerings. Ensure the respect of technical and commercial offers time schedule to serve sales force in due time maintaining improvised quality level of bids. Review and respond to Technical Clarifications of bid and presenting the solution to the customer. Support order booking as per signed contract/PO, ensure budget margins & drive an improved Operations turnover process. Support the Sales team in commercial and technical meetings/negotiations with customers. Update the offer management systems, IT platform (SPEAK). Bidding Process Compliance: Ensure the complete bid management phases (inclusive of proper risk assessments) to ensure compliance to Company's policy & Instructions (From the receipt of enquiry from the customer till the order). Ensure conducting different tender reviews internally with all stakeholders for having proper validations as per in context to the targeted tender due dates. Conduct Transfer Meeting and hand over relevant documents to operations team. Costing and Pricing Analysis: Review and maintain tendering hit rate (Submission %age and win rate with quality bids). Responsible for review and analysis of cost and price preparation & calculations. Responsible for having formal quotes of third-party products/systems and updating in Tendering tool in line with sourcing. Responsible for ensuring correct costing in Estimation tool in accordance with latest updates. Cost optimization & risk analysis: Challenge product/solution costs and delivery costs in tenders. Commercial/Technical win loss Analysis of Bids. Performance indicator: Delivery of offers on time. Autonomy in data collection, costing & offer approval. Ensure workload target in terms of offer submissions & priorities. Skills & Experience: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with a professional experience of 5 years. Relevant experience in quotes, technical-commercial offer and SAP system knowledge will be considered a plus. Strong technical and intellectual adaptability in order to know the products and assimilate the costing processes as quickly as possible. Knowledge of the business sector. Computer skills.
