TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

An online manufacturing platform that connects companies to a global network of manufacturing services is looking for a Technical Project Manager . From 3D printing to CNC machining, from prototyping to end-part production it makes custom part manufacturing accessible and reliable. The core services are Business and Technical advisory, Product Engineering, Production and Quality Control supporting customers through its advanced digital platform or dedicated Sales and Engineering teams. The candidate shall be responsible within the Society Product & Engineering Team for leading the complex key projects by different customers taking care of the “End to End” management from pre-sales advisory on the proper solutions to the post-sales lean execution of the projects according to business, economic, technical targets short and long-term wise. The Technical Project Manager shall support Society on the following topics: Be the contact point for Key customers actively supporting the business development and pre-sales activities aligned with the commercial strategy, also generating opportunities from a technical standpoint Manage the key customer retention acting as a technical reference point generating multiple opportunities with a short and long-term perspective Autonomously manage Key customers with deep advisory starting from a comprehensive requirements analysis to choose the proper products development path and design strategy along the whole product lifecycle Autonomously manage Key customers with deep advisory to choose the proper business and technical solutions within the broad portfolio of technologies and materials according to business, economic, technical targets and boundary conditions. Manage the complex projects “End to End” process from pre-sales activities to lean execution taking care of the on-time design, production and delivery of the final products according to quality standards. Coordinate with and support the Chief Product Officer (CPO) on engineering and manufacturing standards as well as product contents improvements to always provide the customers with the best solutions. Coordinate with other Application Engineers to provide guidance and help on the broader project execution activities if needed Be aligned and support the Eco-System Manager to provide technical expertise for the supply base portfolio continuous improvement (Engineering, Raw materials, Manufacturing, Post processing, Testing). Be aligned and support the Cost Specialist to provide technical expertise for cost model and cost optimization continuous improvement. Be constantly aware of the state of the art of market trends, technologies, materials, design for Additive solutions & tools, and production process improvements to act as Additive Manufacturing subject matter expert. ·Master degree in Engineering discipline; ·At least 8-10 years of working experience within an Industrial environment or OEM company – required; ·More than 5 years of prior experience within an Engineering and/or Manufacturing team – required; ·At least 5 years of project management and product development experience (incl. managing multiple complex projects and customers with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results) – required; ·At least 3 years of support to pre-sales and/or procurement and/or advisory dealing with customers and/or suppliers within an industrial environment – preferred; ·DFSS Black Belt certification and/or OpEX project previous experience - preferred; ·Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing technologies and market as well as alternative/supporting ones as post processing, quality controls & testing --preferred; ·International education and/or work experience (i.e. ISP, Erasmus, etc) – preferred; ·High level of oral and written communication skills in English – required; ·Good knowledge of Office 365 suite - required; ·Good knowledge of GD&T basics (ASME, ISO) -required; ·Knowledge of process simulation software as Materialise Magics - preferred; ·Knowledge of CAE/CAE, Design for Additive software - preferred; ·Management and soft skills: a.High level of standing acting with customers and suppliers at different level; b.Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and communication methods to work effectively and build relationships with different customers and suppliers; c.High level of interpersonal skills to manage strategies and projects autonomously and effectively; d.High team working; e.Strong bias for action and problem solving skills also where topics are unusual and complex; L’annuncio è rivolto ad ambo i sessi (D.lgs n. 198/2006) e nel rispetto di quanto disposto dall’art. 10 del D.Lgs n. 276/2003.
