TECHNICAL MANAGER / CANTON TICINO Key Responsibilities.
Coordinate activities of designers during the drafting of executive projects (architectural, structural, and plant).
Serve as the interface for Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes.
Manage optimization and variation processes during the execution phase.
Ensure compliance with current regulations and standards.
Coordinate the preparation of AS-BUILT plans and assist with partial and final work inspections.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to propose solutions for process optimization.
Provide technical support to the Procurement department.
Monitor project design to ensure adherence to technical, site-specific, and economic optimization criteria.
Qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
Experience as a General Contractor in the construction sector.
Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM systems, and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
Native Italian speaker with excellent English proficiency; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of reinforced concrete, metal structures, and plant systems (electrical and mechanical).
Competencies.
Strong cross-disciplinary technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
