We are looking to hire a Mexico Tax Accountant to join our Shared Services team in Monterrey.
Responsibilities Collection and recordkeeping of MX tax-related information Compliance and reporting of monthly and annual tax obligations in a timely manner for multiple units, Ensure the timely filing and payments of all MX tax obligations, Prepare and submit tax refund packages to Tax Agencies Preparation of Corporate tax reports, tax forecasts, Prepare MX monthly and annual tax provision.
Reconcile tax-related G/L accounts.
Support the preparation of MX Statutory Audit Review.
Actively communicate and interact with various levels of Tax headquarters personnel and/or Important Tax Firms.
Prepare and submit electronic reports related to new MX e-accounting.
Ensure all policies & procedures are updated & documented as necessary under a Shared Services environment.
Prepare and assist with response to Tax Agency requirements/notifications Requirements.
Accounting or Finance Degree The ideal candidate with 2-3 years of experience % Bilingual English/Spanish Strong analytical and problem solving High attention to detail Experience with Tax efficient strategies to optimize tax rate A proactive approach with a dedication to teamwork Outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement are essential.
Very Good computer skills using MS Office.
Knowledge in SAP/QAD systems will be a plus.
MX and US GAAP knowledge.
Strong Experience in Internal Controls The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards.
