SUSTAINABILITY SENIOR CONSULTANT | BEARINGPOINT | MILANO

Would you like to help Italian and international companies in defining their sustainability strategies? Interested in identifying, planning and executing reduction actions leveraging a leading emissions calculator tool?   We are strenghtening our local expertise, willing to ramp-up a dedicated team and looking for a Senior Consultant, focused on sustainability topics!   You will be based in our office in  Milan or Turin, with a hybrid way of working.
What will you do?     You will define and take care of our client’s long-term sustainability strategy (measure CO2-equivalent environmental sustainability, review of product/supplier materials, review of energy supply, reuse of waste), spanning from strategies definition to carbon reduction action ideation, assessment and prioritization to support their hands-on execution.
You will support the local sustainability practice growth including go-to-market development, business development activities and junior colleagues mentoring.
You will work with an international team delivering environmental consulting services to companies in Italy and abroad by acting as our local sustainability advisor.
Whom are we looking for?      You have a Master’s Degree with a focus on Environmental or Energy Engineering or Sustainability Management.
Previous experience in the role (4-7 years), in a Consulting company in the sustainability department.
Passion for the world of sustainability and related technology solutions.
You have strong problem-solving, teamworking and presentation skills, combined with a structured mindset and a good level of autonomy.
You are interested in developing your own expertise in an international environment.
You are fluent both in Italian and English   (other European languages will be considered as a plus).
Good knowledge of the Office package (PowerPoint, Excel).
In addition, we value.
Previous client facing work experience from sustainability consulting or working in an environmental function.
Experience from conducting carbon accounting and LCA calculations, and at least basic understanding of CDP, SBT and GRI.
Experience of using different environmental databases (for example Gabi and Ecoinvent).
E xperience in supporting companies in achieving ISO, ISO , ISO , ISO , ISO, ISO, B Corporation, Ecovadis, etc.
certifications.
Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards, such as CSRD, WEF Reporting, UN GC SDG Ambition advantageous.
