Saffron Walden, UK – fully on-site due to the nature of the role Salary.
£ per annum Requirements for Software Engineer Solid commercial experience within a Software Engineering position Proficient in Python 1st class honours or high 2.
degree from a top university in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Electronics or similar.
Minimum of AAA at A Level or equivalent UCAS points Must be proficient in Object-Oriented programming with a natural ability to pick up new programming languages Strong problem-solving ability, with a proactive nature in asking questions to expand your knowledge Any exposure to working with embedded or hardware development would be beneficial Any experience with mobile app development on iOS or Android would also be helpful Ideally, you will be in a position to qualify for SC Clearance due to the nature of some customers Responsibilities for Software Engineer Work on multiple software development projects from prototype phase through to full products Work alongside team members to design and develop software solutions addressing the company’s unique challenges.
Develop techniques for data collection, preprocessing, and optimisation to support machine learning and algorithm development.
Take responsibility for managing and maintaining operational company systems, primarily Linux-based.
