Job Description Purpose of the Job.
This role is a 12 month, fixed term contract.
This role is responsible for overseeing and leading a Site Logistics Transformation within the Lucca Factory in readiness for the deployment of a new ERP solution.
Specifically.
Data purification & analysis of the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) Warehouse storage design & Assembly Point-of-Use (POU) design Machinery & equipment design and procurement Workforce & equipment planning Logistics process design Inventory transfer & rearrangement planning.
Integration of supply chain requirements into warehouse design.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes.
Execute Rotork Business System Audits in readiness for system implementation, develop GAP analysis detail and deliver & execute a programme to remove gaps prior to system deployment.
Act as a point of contact for the D365 Implementation Programme and as the conduit between the programme and the Operations Function for the Logistics & Warehouse functional area.
Coordinate/provide the relevant SME/functional resources as required to support delivery of the D365 /Target Operating Model transformation programme.
Lead Site Leadership and SMEs through change management to adopt the core D365 operations solution.
Work with Subject Matter Experts to define/validate/sign off requirements/deliverables to ensure our solution meets global best practice or local needs.
Lead and support Business Process change within the Rotork Lucca operation to align to Business system design and required workflow.
Lead Logistics architecture / layout design and deployment using 3rd party contractors.
Hold & report upon the consolidated Operations view of progress against solution & business readiness for functional area.
Maintain and develop business process maps for Logistics operations.
Qualifications Essential Minimum 5 years working in Logistics/Warehouse management and Logistics Engineering.
Experience of manufacturing material management and replenishment procedures.
Infrastructure change experience.
Comfort working in a high-pressure environment, in agile and dynamic way to tackle unexpected & emerging issues.
Demonstrable track record, and sufficient gravitas and experience, to deliver positive, high impact business outcomes and change.
Experience managing senior internal & external stakeholders to provide information, drive decisions and resolve issues.
