job description the person, reporting directly to the general manager, will have the following main tasks.
develop and implement the supply chain and procurement strategy, following the group guidelines and objectives oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, distribution and customer service continuously assess and improve supply chain processes to enhance and optimise efficiency and to reduce costs collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply to meet customer requirements monitor key performance indicators (kpis) and develop metrics to measure supply chain performance, analyse trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, market expansions, or any other strategic initiatives competenze ed esperienza bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
mba or advanced degree is preferred; solid experience in supply chain management and procurement, with a europe scope, gained in a leadership role is required; demonstrated expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, including demand planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution; strong analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights; excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams; proven experience in driving process improvement initiatives and implementing innovative practices to optimise supply chain operations; ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organisation; strong business acumen and understanding of financial implications related to supply chain decisions; excellent communication and presentation skills; proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced knowledge of ms excel; fluent knowledge of italian and english languages is required.
