Reporting to the Group Sales Director, this exciting new role is responsible for the support and delivery of the TXO Ltd product sales number. You will lead a team of sales professionals focused on expanding existing client accounts and maximizing revenue growth. This role involves developing strategic account plans, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring the sales team, analysing performance data, and collaborating with other departments to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. We want to be known for a world class commercial function, and to do that we need to build and develop best in class processes, systems and reporting. You’ll have autonomy to bring amazing ideas to the table and enable our commercial organisation to exceed their goals and significantly contribute to positive business and customer outcomes. The following outlines the primary areas of responsibility. Additional responsibilities or functions may be required as necessary to support the business. Follow all companies Policies and Procedures including but not limited to Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Information Security. The role is also expected to perform any reasonable requests which are not defined but in the ability of the individual. Team Leadership and Development Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of account managers to achieve individual and team sales goals. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. Strategic Account Management Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth within existing accounts. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion. Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Territory Definition: Support the Sales Director – UK & Growth Markets with the management and staffing of sales territories. Sales Performance and Reporting Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met. Prepare and present regular reports on account growth and sales performance. Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and improve sales effectiveness. Customer Relationship Management Oversee the use of CRM tools to manage customer data and track sales activities. Ensure the sales team maintains accurate and up-to-date client records. Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer support teams to align efforts and maximize account growth opportunities. Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting. Coordinate with IT to optimize sales tools and systems. Process Improvement Identify and implement best practices to improve sales processes and team efficiency. Standardize sales processes and ensure adherence across the team. Continuously seek ways to enhance the customer experience and streamline operations. Application Management: To support the sales team with the use of various applications and platforms. Performance Management: Undertake reviews of Sales Staff to identify high or poor performance and make recommendations to the Sales Director – UK & Growth Markets. Sales Team Organisation: Work with the Sales Director – UK & Growth Markets to define quarterly objectives, daily delivery, regions, working pods, focus etc. Process Management: Work with the Sales Director – UK & Growth Markets to identify bottlenecks in the sales process and find ways to reduce them to make sales go faster. Approval Management: when requested act as approver on behalf of the Sales Director – UK & Growth Markets. Sales Support Management: Management of the sales support team. Prioritising urgent tasks and major projects to make sure critical works gets accomplished. Tactical and strategic thinker with a focus on results and customer satisfaction. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is desirable. Master’s degree is desirable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, account management, or a related field. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving account growth. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
