SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER - PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES

Partner with the best The Senior Product Manager will deliver technical, operational, and commercial plans to senior leaders across our Valves business. You will own profitability and growth through Long Range Planning and development of a Multi-Generational Product Plan for the Consolidated, Pressure Relief Valve product portfolio. As a Senior Product Manager, you will: Lead the development and implementation of growth strategies for Consolidated Pressure Relief Valve products Understand current market positions and drive product line(s) to be a global leader in the PRV market Meet with customers (End Users and EPCs) to obtain direct Voice of Customer (VOC) to clearly understand the customer’s product needs (i.e. Product gaps, NPD needs, lead time needs, etc.) Prioritize and define New Product Development (NPD) activities based on market needs and supported by strong business cases Develop clear go-to-market guidelines, by sales region and industry segment, to maximize profitable growth Identify adjacent markets that can grow market share and expand SAS Identify and drive cost reduction activities with Engineering, Configuration Management, Sourcing and Manufacturing Work with Sales, Regional Commercial teams and Aftermarket teams to develop and implement aftermarket and channel strategies Evaluate product competitiveness by assessing competitors’ strengths and weaknesses Work with Marketing and Communications to develop materials, programs, and support for products Communicate with frequency to core team of stakeholders around the world to ensure clarity of all programs being driven by Product Management Travel expectation: 25-40% Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a degree from an accredited university or college Have experience with Pressure Relief Valve Product Lines Have experience in Product Management Have proven leadership abilities, strong understanding of business fundamentals and financials Understand functional impact to the business, including supply chain and commercial activities Have good communication skills and confidence with executive presentations Have knowledge of PRV markets, customers, and regional requirements including awareness of Technical Regulations & Standards Have an entrepreneurial spirit to drive growth Have experience leading global teams and cross-functional organizations Be proficient in PowerPoint and Excel programs Working with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
