SENIOR HYDRAULIC ENGINEER The resource will be responsible for managing the hydraulic design of the product and oversee its implementation based on internal customer and business needs.
Activities.
Designs and sizes hydraulic systems, supporting the drafting of hydraulic design specifications Selects the main components of hydraulic systems Supports the mechanical designer in making rough calculations to define the functional performance of the machine and compliance with initial specifications and targets, prior to completion of the drawing Uses software such as CAD and PLM to produce drawings with the appropriate specifications provided by the customer Provides support throughout the build cycle to ensure that design specifications are met Analyzes issues that may arise during the use of the machine itself and proposes solutions applicable in the application context Implements projects in accordance with applicable international and specific regulations and standards in Offshore and Marine areas Collaborates in drafting the hydraulic engineering subcontract specification and monitors its execution Drafts or checks plant schematics Drafts and monitors technical documentation Issues technical specifications for bids and ensures technical follow up of hydraulic supplies Collaborates in the preparation of final project documentation for matters under his/her responsibility Drafts operating instructions and technical reports Defines specifications for flushing and contamination tests Defines specifications for pressure tests of equipment and components with checks for possible leakage Designs and selects major pneumatics components (accumulators, valves, piping and pressure systems according to PED regulations, compressed power generation management) Requirements.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering At least 3 to 4 years of previous experience in hydraulic design, gained in offshore marine sectors Knowledge of SolidWorks, Creo, Simulate-Creo and AutoCad CAD software, Hydraw, and Windchill PLM Use of Office package programs at an advanced level Knowledge of relevant Directives Knowledge of regulations specific to hydraulic systems, PED, Atex Knowledge of project management methodologies and problem solving techniques Strong trouble-shooting skills and sensitivity to continous improvement Willingness to work under stress and within deadlines, with both work week and weekend flexibility Good communication skills Headquarter Cesena
